DON’T LET RAIN DAMPEN THE HOLIDAYS… MUSEUMS ARE INDOORS.

We headed down to Sydney today and checked out the new exhibit at the Australian Museum on College Street. With the weather predicted to be pretty much miserable, it was an easy decision and we decided to drive down.

Arriving in town the sun was shining but the wind was present. We walked up the hill along Liverpool Street popping into Hungry Jacks for $2.00 Hot Chocolates on our way to College Street.

We are huge fans of the Australian Museum and who wouldn't be when there is a world of natural history all in one place.

Free entry for all children (16 years and under) and Adults are only $15 general entry. The new exhibit ‘Wild Planet’ is included in this general admission price. The Museum has had a make-over and it’s incredible and this new Wild Planet Exhibit and the Garrigarrang Sea Country Aboriginal Exhibit are both world class.

If you are looking for something to do with the kids, rain, hail or shine, the Australian Museum is a great attraction. The whole family will be entertained for hours.
